Spring 2015 Company Update

On this first day of the Spring season, we at Research Underwriters hope you are coming out of the bitter cold and heading towards warmer weather! I am pleased to share updates on some of the new and exciting things happening at Research Underwriters, beginning with the impending transition to a new software system.

As some of you may remember, our team began the transition to a new cloud-based customer service platform in Winter 2014. After a lot of hard work and dedication from our staff, I am pleased to announce that we are now just over one month away from completing the process and going live with the new platform. Through new features and 21^st century technologies, this new product will increase efficiency among staff and ensure reliable access to customer data. Using this cloud-based product, we will now be able to move all customer data to secure data centers, meaning that our agents can access and service customer accounts at any time, from any location. Customers can be assured that their information will remain safe and secure.

Please note that, as a result of this transition, our offices will be operating at a reduced capacity from April 26th to April 30th, 2015. Our staff will make every effort to process requests in a timely fashion, but we do ask that clients be mindful of these dates and attempt to submit requests before this period. We believe this new product will take our customer service to new heights, and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

This transition to a new and improved customer service platform is just one of the ways Research Underwriters will be improving in 2015. As always, we continue to seek out new markets so that we can provide our clients with the best insurance products at the most competitive rates. These first months of 2015 have already seen new and exciting partnerships with leading carriers that we believe will be of great benefit to our clients. Our expansion efforts will also continue in 2015, and we are currently exploring opportunities to grow our operations on the west coast – stay tuned for more details!
